F4 Phantom Luftwaffe Jg71 Richthofen "40 Jahre"

I picked up this great looking F4 Phantom Luftwaffe JG71 Richthofen 37+86 "40 Jahre" 1999....
I have seen these before a few years ago but when i did they had used decals on the Phantom and
i don't like it because you can tell it doesn't look right......So i just let it slide a few years and believe me it was worth the wait
i got one of the last ones that Franklin Mint ever made this came in with the last batch from the warehouse and it's all pad printed tampo
with no decals at all and this one is a really great looking Phantom as well.
This is after all my first Luftwaffe F4 and i may get another one if it had pad printed tampos as well.
This is a really cool looking one you need to have in your collection if you don't already...Only problem is it's retired and very few are left to get.
I'm knocking on wood with these Franklin Mint planes so far they all have been 5 Stars and no decals.
Enjoy the the pictures.

This picture here is one of the first ones that came out and you can tell whats a decal on this.
This is a big improvement on their part.

I just got this picture in the email of the real plane.

George Preddy was......Just the greatest fighter pilot who ever squinted through a gunsight.
He was a complete fighter pilot.......Colonel John C. Meyer Deputy Commander of the 352nd.

Re: F4 Phantom Luftwaffe Jg71 Richthofen "40 Jahre"

Nice pictures!

But I have to admit that I don't like this model very much.

I have it in my collection but its far from beeing my favourite Phantom.

I also had a really old one from CDC, the decals started to come off due to material fatigue or whatever.

So I simply sold that version and got a newer one
