| Re: What do you think of FM's A-10? Cut to the set of Antiques Roadshow, the year is 2050.... "What you have here is a fine example of a Franklin Mint/Armour A-10 aircraft model, commonly referred to as the Warthog. Unfortunately, this specimen is all pad printed. Had it been one of the earlier variations with a mixture of decals and pad printing, the value would be at least 25% more...at auction." ![]() | |||||||||||||

| Re: What do you think of FM's A-10?
I might. It is a great model, even with the decals, but there is always the concern of peeling. I was a bit surprised, when I unpackaged it, but not shocked, because if you look at the model at TFM's web-site, it looks like the face is decaled; so I knew there might be a possiblity of receiving a decaled one. | ||||||||||||||

| Re: What do you think of FM's A-10? Hi folks, I like the FM A-10 pretty much. Thats why I have 8 of 'em. ;-) IMHO the "best" one is the B11B921 "Flying Tigers", I simply like this camo variant the most. On the other hand the B11B919 "Peanut camouflage" and B11B618 "Jaws" are cool because they have a unique apperance. Cheers, Armour Addict | |||||||||||||

| I have one of the earlier releases, "Philadephia Freedom" (FMB923). I displayed it for a long tme, but now it resides in its box in the basement. I'm not about to go down into the bowels of the house to check it out, if I could locate it, but I'm pretty certain that it's mostly decaled. One of FMs better efforts I think. | |||||||||||||
