| Re: F4 Phantom Robin Olds
I've always wondered this about museum restorations. Is that the real deal, or has that Phantom just been restored to that paint scheme? | ||||||||||||||

| Re: F4 Phantom Robin Olds My Ricthie FM Phantom has AF 67 463 on it's tail. I know that one is right. I have seen pictures of Robin Olds Sqn and the tail on theirs is also AF 40 as well so i beileve this is the correct number for that plane. Someone once told me they thought it was AF64-829 as olds F-4 as well but i can't confirm if that's true or not because i have not seen any pictures to show that AF 64. JP | |||||||||||||

| Re: F4 Phantom Robin Olds I have no idea about serial numbers. The F-4 that is in the NMUSAF is the real deal. That is the actual F-4 that he flew. At least one of them. This is the real Scat F-4. He flew a few F-4's, but only one scat F-4. Most of the museum's aircraft are painted in their actual colors. But there are always a few exceptions. | |||||||||||||
