A new Australian F-18 - sweet! Sounds like I'm behind the power curve - I had no idea that these new Hornets were coming out. Where do you guys look for info on new Canadian/Australian birds? I'd love to see a pick of the Australian model when someone gets one. We need a Malaysian and Finnish F-18 to fill out the Hornet operators list.

Yeah, and it's an operational paint scheme not a showbird. It's the F/A-18 Hornet RAAF, 3Sqn current livery. Based St. Williamstown - Commander's bird with snake nose art. You'll find it with the known Australian retailers. I ordered it but shipping is a killer. When I'll get it I will do some pics. The attached pic is only a partial from a website.

I'll simply browse some retailers and see whats new. Some of them carry limited and special releases.
Mmmh, cool idea! I am a Hornet fan anyway. Now I have 26 out of 36 available.

I also have the Spanish Hornet incoming, heard of this one?

Or maybe I'll do a Malaysian or Finnish out of that Mackit kit lying around...

I have been working very closely with the Canadian FM Distributor that has been having these done.

There are 2 more in the works for end of year, early next year.
