Re: F4 Phantom Wild Weasel 1:48

You know, I had that model and sold it because, IMHO, the ordnance load is incorrect.

Shouldn't a Wild Weasel variant have some form of AGM ... like AGM-45 Shrike, AGM-78B ARM, AGM-65 Maverick or AGM-88A Harm?

IIRC, the model was carrying only AIM-7s and -9s.

May we please have that in 1/72 from either of the companies that have pencilled in Phantoms this year?

I own the CDC version of the Olds bird. This and the Sundowners Phantom were the very first diecast planes I bought. Up to then, I was only into the mahogany models.

The Olds F-4, the CDC version (not sure if the newer ones are any different), was one of my very first diecast models. Bought it in early 1999, according to the receipt. I've always loved that one, as well as my Royal Navy FG1.

You're sitting on gold with that Royal Navy Rhino. Saw one go for ~ $250.00 on the bay just a week ago or so.

That and my VF-51 Screaming Eagles CAG Phantom are the pride of my Armour collection as far as scarcity.
