|  Re: First look at FM/Armour's 1:48 Mirage IIIs I like that French one a lot, but I'm in no hurry on this one so I think I'll wait to see what other schemes they come out with. I didn't realize the contour issue till mentioned prior, I still think it looks cool  . I pulled up a bunch of photos and it definitely looks like flyXwire is correct, the contour was based off the two seater.FVD, you got some great looking models. | |||||||||||||

|  It seems FM intends to make... the maximum of variants with just one basic mould !!! Had they limited themselves to single-seaters only, it would have made sense... but both single and two-seaters, impossible ! They only managed to make a beauty look bad  !And to make matter worse, FM doesn't know the variants of the Mirage III better than those of the Corsair : what should be a Mirage IIIS is actually a IIIE !  | |||||||||||||

True, I hadn't even noticed that, since I was already ticked off enough by the wrong canopy/spine shape. Another error on FM's part. I know they can do better when they want to. Their A-10, for example, is quite good. But this Mirage, well... FVD | ||||||||||||||
