Franklin to introduce 07 products sometime next week.

It sounds like things may be making a turn for the better at The Franklin Mint. The company has been sold and they've received an infusion of cash that may create the opportunity to rejuvenate the Collection Armour product line. We'll just have to wait and see what this brings.

I would love to know what they have on the drawing board as far as aircraft went.

Re: Franklin to introduce 07 products sometime next week.

Maybe we'll see a Ju 88.

- Size is within requirements

- Enough variations of schemes for multiple sales

- Never done in 1/48

Or maybe we'll see another January - May 1942 SBD

- Large round stars with red centers

I'd also like to to see several more versions of their DC-3 line, including a Pacific 1942 scheme. If you have not personally handled one of FM's DC-3's, you are missing out on one beautiful experience.

Thanks for the update mhackl. Please give us a run down when you find out (with pictures if possible ). It might be a while before we see any pictures or catalogues. Are they letting the info out by web or are you guys getting the catalogues in?

Thanks again,
aero

From the title of this thread I would guess sometime this week...

Are they coming out with a 1/48 P-61?
