Ouch! Man, if the price hike is true I won't be getting a FMint anytime soon. C1 and Hobby Master will be my main targets. Or I just might start collecting 1/72's.

Re: Franklin to introduce 07 products sometime next week.

Hi everybody, I am a new member and unlike many collectors over here in England, I am a great fan of FM and have several models.

True, they make some mistakes ( 11sqn Tornado F3 ! ), but they also have some classic models, such as the B-17 and B-24.

I am still waiting for a correct HE-111 though.

The news of the Mirage should raise quite a bit of interest this side of the Atlantic, though, and bring more support for FM - if done right !

The Mirage is a model many collectors here want, as it has been sadly neglected by manufacturers.

A RAF Phantom would be great too !

I am not against making the models that they chose, I just wish there were a few more to go with it.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Welcome UK F4 fan. We need a few more limeys on the hanger.

Welcome! Many of us enjoy FM.

I am still waiting for a correct HE-111 though.

With you there, too. I will buy one if they get the markings even close to correct.

The oversized crosses were just too much for my taste, and the 3 bars per wing B of B version was blatantly wrong.

I own a Coastal Command B-24 and love it!

Re: Franklin to introduce 07 products sometime next week.

Regrettably, if this is the case, FM will inevitably succumb to the competition. I've noticed that the 'new' pricing appears to already be reflected in the pricing structure of some retailers (which I don't believe is appropriate for 'old' stock ). It is also incomprehensible that existing castings (i.e. old stock) be sold at the new prices and I will be (am) extremely disappointed with retailers who follow this approach ...

I agree CArd, it seems reprehensible for retailers to immediately hike prices on exisiting stock to match the new prices, unless its' an order from FM directly...maybe they control retail pricing?

I noticed one of our collective favorite retailers has done this, and then put the entire FM line "on sale" .. ie. A-10 "110.00, now $69.99" when last week, it was just "69.99..."

Seems like the gas pricing model is being adopted

Can't imagine paying $110 for the Big Hairy Bird B-26, which I just got a little while ago for $50!

Looks like they have a limited edition P-51C 'Berlins Express' so they obviously did a little bit to the p51 mold. also they are releasing 'BIG DICK' from the 78th FG that I mentioned before.
