How is the detail & accuracy of CDC/FM Me 109's

Have not seen any up close and personal but possibly interested in getting 1 or 2 for my collection. Anyone have the Galland, Graf or Hartmann's in 1:48 and care to comment?

Thanks, Bill

ended up purchasing that Carousel Fw 190D-11 and am now cursed with another scale

Re: How is the detail & accuracy of CDC/FM Me 109's

I have a few FM/CDC 109s and honestly, they are just "ok".. There are some unique schemes like Marseilles that I have but that is the only reason I have them.. The main issues I have with them is the rear horizontal stabilizers are too high on the tail and the canopy seems too shallow.. Just my opinion though..

That's what I wanted to hear. They are the only ones out there, right now, with 1:48 Me's aren't they?

I got Heinz Bar's mount most recently and I really like it alot despite the landing gears.

One eventually hopes that Carousel will do the Fw 190s with several variants.

Carousel offers 109s, too, in 1:48 -- came out with them before the 190, so check out those, too -- Galland's is getting good reviews around here, I think Harry just picked one up

I have the early FM/CDC Hartman, you can see it here:

I'm kind of lukewarm to 'em, but I've been tempted by that Graf many times... I will likely cave eventually!
