1/72 German Halftrack?

Has this been released in the US or not? I have not even seen one on eBay yet. My local Targets don't have any of the new ones yet either. If it has been release where can you get one and could someone please post some pics.
Thanks,
Eric

I've heard various reports that they're now becoming available at Target in the US. I've checked mine and they're not in yet, but I've heard different people on the West Coast say their Targets got them so I think that all Targets will have them any time now.

Re: 1/72 German Halftrack?

Dear Salazar,

I've posted a few articles and observations on various threads on the matter of the missing FOV 251 Stuka zu Fuss.

The last thing I posted was a diaribe against manufacturers and distributers who plan release dates which are not honoured.

Also, I suspect that FOV aren't producing many and this may be because the 251 is so good that they are facing revised costs. Just speculation, but this happens often in the die-cast and modelling world.

I got six of them in my home city of Glasgow, Scotland. The shop where I got them had a delivery of 9 or 10 in a huge mixed lot. If I had not been there at the time it would have been, goodbye, Charlie to my hopes.

Heavens knows how they turned up here and nowhere else that I can find, except a dealer in Germany.

good hunting!

MoMo

Re: 1/72 German Halftrack?

I wrote Unimax about this a couple months ago, and they said that all 1:72 releases will be available at Target in the US and that they will make "as many as Target wants."

Don't know what to say about Hobby shop version.

Re: 1/72 German Halftrack?

Juneau1,
I live in Los Angeles and picked up 4 of the new FOV 1:72 scale armor. I did not see the German Halftrack or Grant but I surmised that was just bad timing on my behalf. I only saw the new tanks in one store and on one occasion. I sumise we merely have to wait.......

Re: 1/72 German Halftrack?

Dear all,

things are looking up. Legio has got some at Target ( see other thread ) and more have turned up here on this side of the pond ( Scotland...Glasgow )

There were about a dozen at on of the shops I check out and they had plenty of Grants, Shermans and the rest of FOVs 2006 catalogue in good numbers.

You guys must be next in line........
