Review of M3 halftrack

G'day chaps,

Just received this model, and overall I'm quite impressed with it. Good detailing, working wheels and tracks, exact 1/72 scale, with three quite well done crew figures! Only fly in the mix is the absolute rubbish 0.50 cal MG mounted on the 'pulpit' (which is odd, because FoV's 0.50 cal MGs on their M113 and Sherman are much better). Easily fixed - simply replace it with the MG from the Easy Model Pershing.

I'd certainly rate this as better than the Altaya M21, though the two models represent different variants - and the Altaya version has a windshield and more detailed driver controls.

Re: Review of M3 halftrack

I like this model ,ok the guns are a bit shabby but its still very good.

However the stand out point for me is the 3 figures for those of us with no painting skills these and the dragon armour figures are about the best thats available.
