Welcome to the asylum, mil0. I own both FOV Enthusiast M60s, and all I can say is, they're incredibly cool. I've never removed mine from their boxes, but from what I can see through their see-thru panels, they're among the best tanks Forces of Valor produced. Grab 'em if you can. Good luck!

Howdy Mil0,

Welcome to the forum from one newbie to another! Are you only looking at FOV's M60? What about other brands? Minichamps has a pretty decent, if more pricey, M60 in desert storm camo. Have you seen that one?

Re: M60 Patton

Yes, the ERA panels are removable. BUT, it still leaves the mounting brackets on the diecast when they are removed. So, it looks kinda funny. If you are trying to go from a ODS M-60 to a Cold War M-60 without ERA, then you are going to be out of luck. Unless you take a dremel and start sawing away.

Don't do what BDE tells you to do. Do what BDE would want you to do.

Re: M60 Patton

Welcome Mil0! The FOV M-60's are very nice as others have stated, as a matter of fact, I think all FOV tanks are great (especially for the money). You won't be disappointed!

p.s. the mounting brackets are just square shaped brackets molded onto the tank body that lock the ERA into place.
