Re: FOV new stuff

Does anybody knows when the new FOV 1/32 German Elefant will be released? The same for the Battleship Bismarck and what scale will it be? Will there also improvements in general quality for the Hartmann Me 109 by FOV?

They're doing a Hartmann 109? 1:72 or 1:32? Whichever, that's GREAT news! Hope it has his tulip.

Re: FOV new stuff

Thanks, Daywalker. I remember seeing that post back in October, but I'm afraid that I did not really "see" it! I don't buy too much in 1:32, and only have one diecast, the others are 21st Century, but I'll likely get this one if it's any good.

Stryker dead? Doesn't surprise me. Forces of Valor confronts the same economic/manufacturing/marketing problems every other diecast manufacturer faces. I'm thinking we should count our blessings if the Stryker is the only FOV model to succumb to premature extinction.

Re: FOV new stuff

Valkyrie just alerted me to a new 1:72 M1A1 Abrams FOV release (#85205).....
Looks like a repaint, but very nice. Would go well with the FOV Abrams in desert camo.
Some on-line retailers are putting out pre-orders already.
I don't know when it will be released though.

Re: FOV new stuff

A woodland camo M1A2 is quite rare. I'm surprised FOV is even bothering with making this one.

Re: FOV new stuff

Yeah, I find it strange too. Seems like a stand-alone release. Did not notice any other AFV releases in 1:72 scale accompanying the Abrams. Wouldn't have known if not for Valkyrie, who alerted me to it.

Re: FOV new stuff

I picked this one up at Target this morning for $25. This is the first time I have ever seen the 1/32 Paladin at Target. This could be the sign of something good in our future!
