Re: FOV new stuff

Legio LXXIISounds like you experienced the same thing I did. I went through all the FOV figure sets at both Target and Toys R Us and I couldn't find a single one that didn't have at least something wrong with it. The same problems with bent weapons, bent figures, horses running almost sideways on their side (no joke), etc.

These figures sets are pretty cheap at Target and Toys R Us, only $7 a set. I just wish I could have found one set that didn't have one of these issues

Thanks for confirming my overview of the current crop of FOV soldier sets. It really is too bad that you or I could not find a single set to buy!

Well, you know what they say, FOV: once bitten, twice shy!

Other collectors : please post your views on these products, as you come across them !

Also, I hope that FOV is watching the Forum.......they need feedback!

Re: FOV new stuff

Great pic. Thanks LegioLXXll.

If you can find one set which sits upright, it looks interesting enough to add to any collection of 1.72 stuff !"

Re: FOV new stuff

Well, as luck would have it, I found a set today which stands upright, so I bought it. The horse is well painted in this set, so I may have lucked out and found that good set in twenty !

Anyway, the cost to us Brits is $13.00 per set....way over what folks on the other side of the pond have to pay !

Happy hunting

Re: FOV new stuff

I ended up paying just $6 for my 1/72 figure set at Target. Toys R Us also sells them and they're $7. You guys pay almost double MoMo, you could probably order from the US and stll get them cheaper if you bought a few things at a time.

Thanks LegioLXXll, there is a Toys 'R Us at one of the Super malls on the edge of civilisation here. The trek out to it is tedious, to say the least, but i'll check it out sometime.

The problem is that Toys 'R Us here seemed to have a " No War Toys " policy, when I last visited. It may just be a European thing ( you never know what the Euro minions have been up to ), but I'll check it out anyway.

Have any of you Brits ever been to Toys 'R Us and found anything worth-while ?
