Re: New 1/72 stuff - where is it???

I was out of town on a job and checked out Toy's R Us in Chico,Ca and saw a whole set of Forces of Valor items there in all scales
on the shelves. They had a very big selection of items with more boxes on the floor. They were still stocking them as i left.
JP

Is there any 1:72 scale tanks? ToysRUs usually does not have 1:72 scale stuffs...

Re: New 1/72 stuff - where is it???

Saw loads of 1/32 in TrU this weekend. Tanks and aircraft. The D-Day spit had the oddedst camo scheme I have ever seen - silver and lime green .

No 1/72 though.

One indi store round here had the same old 1/72 that you get in Target but in black boxes, not the green that I ususlly see - Is this a new box design for them. No new tanks though.

Re: New 1/72 stuff - where is it???

My prediction is that the 251s will fly out of the shops. Wait till you see it and you'll know what I mean!

happy hunting!

MoMo

You got that right!

I was in my local hobby shop in Western Australia when they were unpacking all the new FOV - There were heaps of them & the guy said that he didnt know where to put them cause there were so many.

I bought the Russian su-122 as i liked that the best and thought 'no worries' i'd get the others later.

Anyway a few weeks later I can't locate the 251 anywhere in Australia! - Sold out completely (though i did manage to get all the rest of the new series ..).

I believe FOV may be sending more supplies later.

Anyway - the motto is - If you see it - Buy it!

Cheers

Re: New 1/72 stuff - where is it???

Dear Idak,

my best advice would be : do a search on ebay and ebay shops. If you see it buy it. There is one shop site I noticed in Germany ( which seemed to have the FOV 251 first ) which is offering the 251 for sale. The price is high. Perhaps they know something we don't!

Anyway, half-track enthusiasts,

I believe that as soon as resupplies appear, they'll be deployed to wargammers as quick as **** through a goose!

Get'em while you can because this one is going to be a sore point with completists....there's going to be some gaps out thre for a while!

Good hunting, chaps, and tally ho!

MoMo

Same at TrU in this area...no 1/72. Hopefully they will start showing up soon so we can latch on to 'em!
