Wittman Tiger I

I just pulled the trigger on the FOV Wittman Tiger I from Bad Cat Aviation for $385.00 Shipped. I already have the 1/16 Pieper King Tiger and love it but was wondering if anyone has the Tiger I. If so, what do you think of it? How does it compare to the King Tiger and was the $385 a good deal? I usually have buyers remorse after evey purchase.....especially one's that I can't easily hide from the better half!

Thanks in advance for the feedback!!!!

Yes Trex, I did the same thing on Monday at BCA. I got the $10.00 shipping special though to bring the deal to $359.98. I think the shipping special is still on?

And oh yes this is a great Tiger I, and better done than the King Tiger IMHO. I now have all four 1/16 FOV Tigers.

Re: Wittman Tiger I

That is one bloody expensive tank. Could you guys post pictures of it? I'd like to see why the hell it is so expensive apart from its apparent size.

Daywalker,

That'd be great to see pictures of all the 1/16 tanks together!

Re: Wittman Tiger I

There is a site with several rather large photos of 85504, but unfortunately it is a webshop (although in Japanese language). I hope nobody will mind that I post the direct links to these pictures - if somebody does, I apologize.
The five figures look much better in reality, but you can get a good impression of the tank.

Re: Wittman Tiger I

Thanks for the link A3driver! I can't wait to get this tank. Like I said, I really love the King Tiger and if one is half as good then I'll be one happy camper!

Hey Starman,

I'll put mine on the bathroom scale. But if you thinking about this Tiger, and you like tanks, your jaw will hit the ground it's that good.
