Re: Wittman Tiger I

How much does that Tiger tank weigh?
JP

The King Tiger in the crate was 45+ lbs. I'll have to weigh the tank itself and get back to you.

I'll weigh it when I get home but just from lifting it a few times that it was around the 10lb mark (+/- 3lbs).

Okay, got home, unpacked the King Tiger and weighed it on the digital scale. It comes in at 11lbs 3 oz. empty. Pretty good heft!

Daywalker,

That'd be great to see pictures of all the 1/16 tanks together!

Pictures posted in my collections.

Re: Wittman Tiger I

That Tank looks sweeeeetttttttt. Wish I could afford one of those, be so cool to have that big and diecast too boot.

Do they still come in the neat wooden crate? I was always hoping to snag a deal on the bay , one listed wrong or a non knowing seller, never happens on these babies.

Re: Wittman Tiger I

The King Tigers were packed in wooden crates but the Wittmann - Villers Bocage Tiger ( 222 ) comes in a neat box and so does the latest Wittmann Tiger ( 007 )
