FoV is comming out with a 1/16 ' special ' edition of Wittmann's Tiger I. Their calling it, " Wittmann's final battle ". It will have turret # 007, and 2000 will be produced. The first Wittmann Tiger I was FoV item # 82504, the new one is # 85504 and will have the full Wittmann 5 member crew. But the best thing is FoV will make this special edition with a full metal body and not the plastic body of the first edition!

I like the idea of a full metal hull......I'm very interested in getting one of these.

Here in the UK, I bet it will cost close to £350. The second edition King Tiger is in the UK Model Zone shops for £250.

I picked up the first King Tiger for £225, but they sold out real fast in the UK.

I would hate to think what the shipping charge from the US to the UK would be.

I was just looking at my first edition Wittmann Tiger ( 82504 ), and I've seen this editions discription, discribed as having a diecast body. I'm not be sure, but it looks like plastic to me. I wonder if the new Wittmann Tiger ( 85504 ) will really have a diecast body?

I know the turret and gun barrel along with the treads are diecast, but is the body diecast as well? Anyone know for sure?
