Re: 1/18 FOV Tanks

Yes I saw them as well at Target - Woodland camo and Desert versions for the Brad and Abrams. Also if you check the back of the box, FOV has two Tiger I's coming as well.

I also saw on the back of the box with the Tiger I coming out and I wondered how that will affect their 1/16 sales?? I mean, you can buy a 1/18 for $30 or buy a 1/16 for $400.. Sounds a little "off" to me...

From what I understand, the 1/18 is plastic and toy like where the 1/16 is Diecast with extreme detail. Either way, they are both too large for my liking.

Re: 1/18 FOV Tanks

Two questions:

1. Does anyone have FOV's 1/32 M1 Abrams in NATO camouflage?
If so, how does it compare to FOV's 1/18 Abrams?

2. Target.com has an FOV Abrams in Nato paint for $41.99 and is listed as not being in stores but for online orders only. Is this the 1/32 or 1/18 Abrams?

1. Yes, I have the FOV 1/32 M1A1 in woodland CAMO. Great vehicle..but has the T-156 track, like the 1/32 ODS desert tan M1A1. That imperfection coupled with the wind sensor needing to be turned 90 degrees makes the model a..."oh well...I bought it anyways." But the weathering on it is magnificent for a diecast.

I'd assume that the $41.99 price is for the 1/32 model. That seems a standard price for that vehicle on the 'net.

Re: 1/18 FOV Tanks

CAVTANKER:

Thanks. Three more questions:

1. Which FOV Abrams is better: the 1/32 diecast or the 1/18 plastic?
2. What's the price of the 1/18 plastic Abrams?
3. Do you have the lengths of the 1/18 and 1/32 FOV Abrams?

Re: 1/18 FOV Tanks

If I were you, I'd get a 1/32 for space reasons. More diecasts = more happiness.

I can see on that 1/18 Abrams model that the wind sensor is now correct. I saw on another site a 1/18 Abrams and there was no detail to the GPS.

Unfortunately, I don't have my 1/32 model directly available for measurements. If you get the 1/32 model, you can purchase some 1/35 scale plastic model accessory packs and add to your Abrams bustle rack. I did that to one of my 1/32 Bradleys.

CAVTANKER:

Thanks.
Based on overall detail quality (not on size, etc.) which would you recommend---the FOV 1/18 or 1/32?
