Question: 1:72 T-34/85 at Targets

When did the 1:72 FOV T-34/85's start showing up at Target stores? Also, what other models were in that "wave" to hit Target shelves?

(I've just recently picked up 3 of these - Tiger I; King Tiger; Su 122 - so I'm coming into these a little late - as well as trying to fight the urge to collect these as well. )

Re: Question: 1:72 T-34/85 at Targets

DA Doser,
The new series from FOV started showing up in my area (Los Angeles) just before X-Mas. The 6 models released include the T-34, German and American Half Tracks, Bradley fighting vehicle and supposedly a Sherman (Without mine roller, but I've yet to spot a Sherman) and SU-122. There are two more tanks that are due out including a Grant, but I think that they have yet to appear outside hobby shops?

Anything for a weird life.

Re: Question: 1:72 T-34/85 at Targets

Thanks. Based on observation that's what I was thinking - that the T-34/85 was in the latest batch to hit Targets. I have seen it on the shelf a while back. Right now the Target shelves (in AZ anyway) seem to be dominated by both Tigers; churchill; sherman w/ mine roller; and maybe an Abrams or 2.

That's how it is here too. I must live in Target central because I can count at least 5 different Target stores all within 15 minutes drive from my house. They all have pretty much the same as the one near you.

I could swear I saw a Grant back around Xmass time, but maybe I was hallucinating.... (again).
