| New Planes I was on the FOV site and saw some new planes (at least new to me). Has anyone seen the P-40, Zero, or 262 shown on the site?  The P-40 scheme looks like the Pearl Harbor paint scheme but the mold looks like a later model. (the pix are not very clear)?. | |||||||||||||

| Re: New Planes Yeah, that paint scheme DOES look like a Pearl Harbor P-40. However, from the six .50s in the wings, you can tell that it's not a P-40B (the model that was in the Hawaiian Islands during the attack). However, it sure looks sharp! As much as I like shark mouths on P-40s, I wouldn't mind something different in 1/72... It will be interesting to see what the sticker on the package says regarding where this fighter was stationed... | |||||||||||||

It is definitely Welch's paint and number. See the Carousel version of this aircraft and compare. Guess it was too much to hope for a proper "B".  | ||||||||||||||
