Nuremberg Toy Fair FOVs

Too bad, they don't have pics of their 1/72nd scale P-40 "Flying Tigers".....oh well! Check out the 1/32nd 'Tulip Nose' Hartmann 109! Too bad it's riddled with ship rivets!!!

Re: Nuremberg Toy Fair FOVs

Some nice stuff there, I'm especially looking forward to the 262. Disapointing about the 109 though, I thought after how well the first P-39 turned out they would revamp the new releases with no battleship rivets. That being said, I'll probobly still pick it up to complete the collection.

Diecast Direct has what I assume are pre-production pictures of the new releases on their website. The ME 262 looks nice - I like the all gray paint scheme. There are two P-51s: a 1/72 version of their blue-nosed 1/32 Mustang and a red & yellow nosed P-51 due out in April (maybe?). The Zero is green and gray. The P-40 is an AVG Flying Tiger version and the pre-pro picture looks okay. Then there are two Spitfire Mk IX's coming out as well as a new B-25 and B-26 as shown above. I'll be interested to see what all the planes look like when they are released. Might be worth the money - who knows? Only time will tell.

Re: Nuremberg Toy Fair FOVs

Real shame with the riveting on the Bf 109. Nice paint scheme and engine detail, but the rivets are pretty big.

Here's a picture of the FOV P-40 from the UK forum. Looks interesting.

Re: Nuremberg Toy Fair FOVs

Nice B-26 and B-25! Looks like the same crappy molds for the 1/32 BF-109 and P-51D (notice the overly large rockets under the wings).
