FOV 1:32 line VASTLY improving(Now w/Pics!)

I just recieved the new 1:32 P-39 from FOV and its a huuuuuge improvementer the previous releases. first of all, no titanic sized rivets. Second, the cowlings fit perfectly, once theyre installed the join lines are almost indistinguishable from every other panel line on the aircraft. The Spinner is now a fully rotating, unlike previous spinners which had the stationary centre. And maybe most imporant of all, there is no longer a multitude of large, obvious screws on the bottom of the wings. Everything is hidden, with the exception of 2 small holes where the black plastic mounting base for the packaging was screwed on. And not that this was a problem for any of my other FOV aircraft, but the paint was well done,
crisp and clean. No smudging or overspray. I really hope FOV can come out with more 1:32 releases of this quality.

Welcome aboard Hawkeye 2003. Glad to hear that the new FOV's cut the mustard. I'm looking forward to landing one of these birds.

Heres the requested pics...the last one is just for fun, it shows my FOV Spit signed by Charlie Fox, the man who shot Field Marshall Irwin Rommel with his Spitfire in Normandy in 1944.

Re: FOV 1:32 line VASTLY improving

Thanks Hawkeye - good stuff! Can I ask where you bought it - hobby shop, online or at retail (Target, etc.)?

Also, any pics of the overall model for side view, plan view, etc?
