NOTHING TO DO!

It looks to me like you have been very busy and made a heck of a good job of it too.
Nice one.

Re: So, I finally got an FOV B25

I've had this stuff sitting around since I put in my A/C last year and I figured what the hell,I loved the bare metal Mitchell II's when I was a kid. It's self adhesive, peel and stick duct foil for air duct joints.-cut it into panel sized pieces ,peel and stick. Burnish with a soft wood stick to ensure that it sits into all the panels and scribing. After I was done I polished with stainless steel polish. Painting is tricky though, since it is metal it has to be prepped the same as metal, degrease, zinc-chromate primer and finish. I don't have that mastered yet as you can see but will keep you advised.

I probably have about 16 hours into it. There's still a lot of refining and finishing to do but hey its one of those things you can work on piece by piece. The cowlings are next. They should be fun. The markings on it right now are just trials I will do the finals sometime around Xmas . After the war there were dozens of these things in the RCAF and no two were marked the same. They were used for everything from nav trainers to VIP transports and base taxis . All were painted silver or polished natural metal.
