Believe it or not (that sounded a bit like Ripley's....) I do have that particular one and if you could look past beyond the "battleship-sized rivets" (it couldn't be alot worse than that abominable 109) it's an okay model to display among your collection. I got mine as a gift so I won't complain 'bout it.

I think that you should get a Corgi. They cost more, but look a ton better.

Re: Does anyone have this plane yet?

I have to agree with the comments of my learned forum members. Treat yourself to a Corgi Spitfire. The weathered Brian Lane AA33902 if possible. IMHO they are all excellent as I also have the Al Deere AA33904. Having a some spare cash a while back I got the FOV Spitfire & ME-109. The riveting is dreadful and totally over the top. I really wanted to keep them and went to the trouble of using sand paper and a small file to reduce the rivets. No joy, and they were 'struck off charge' a few weeks later. Buy a Corgi Spitfire

A very good friend gave me a Lane Spit. It is in my eyes on of the coolest diecasts I own.

Re: Does anyone have this plane yet?

Tanknut, If you want a Corgi Spitfire, I know a site that still has many of the 1/32 Spits available and they are reasonably priced (Sorry, no Lanes or Grumpy's) but they did have Kiwis, Baders and PRFs..
PM me if you're interested..

FOV no matter what, are not the planes for me. My view would be to caress a Corgi. Not the ARF....ARF kind. FOV is truly a dog.
