Thanks for posting the link!

I totally agree - the B-26 and the AVG P-40B look great. I've been waiting on an early AVG P-40 for a long time - and I have confidence in FOV's ability to pull off this one - done well - i.e. Pearl harbor P-40. The B-26 makes me "hold off" on getting the one currently out - we'll see how the silver comes out in the production.

Even though I'm Spitfired out - I will probably be a sucker for a FOV version........

1:72 Panzer IV looks promising.

Good stuff.

Yes! Some "must haves" coming out soon! FOV is getting better with their products.

Re: FOV 2008 releases

If they do the exact paint scheme shown for the AVG P-40B - notice the insignia in front of the cockpit.....Hell's Angels - 3rd squadron.

Nude sillouettes of "devil women".........in Target/Toys R US??????? Shhhhhhhhh.....don't alert the media or corporate offices.

(Who flew 47? I'm at work with no AVG reference books avail.)

Re: FOV 2008 releases

I like what i see on the FOV front...Hartmann's 109 , Flying Tigers P-40 , 357th Mustang and the B-26 looks mighty fine too.
DA: It was flown by Flight Leader John Petach, Flight Leader Robert Layher, and Flight Leader R.T. Smith (who also flew aircraft #77)

George Preddy was........Just the greatest fighter pilot who ever squinted through a gunsight.
He was a complete fighter pilot......Colonel John C. Meyer Deputy Commander of the 352nd.

Re: FOV 2008 releases

Found some information on Wings Palette site:

Unit: 3rd PS 'Hell's Angels', AVG (American Volunteer Group)
Serial: 47 (P-8127)
China, June 1942. It was flown by R.T.Smith, one of the most important figures of the Flying Tigers with 8.90 kills. He was an instructor with the Army Air Corps at Randolph Field before joining the group
