I also like it. That B-25 would pack quite a punch with all those 50 calibers in the nose and on each of the front sides.

I agree Mikeb1958. Those .50 cal nose guns do pack a whallop, don't they!

Re: FOV 1/72nd B-25

I hope the glazed cockpit glass is just for the pre-pro. Even if FOV isn't going to include any crew for this one I would prefer clear plastic to the frosted look.

Agreed, but I think that is just for the pre-pro.. Producers always seem to have pre-pro canopies made out of whatever can be had at the time..

FlyXwire,
That is a great scheme. The straffer B-25s are very striking, in more ways that one.

Anything for a weird life.

Agreed! I just ordered this book: about the unit's history here: http://www.web-birds.com/5th/345/345th.html
I'm very intrigued by the "Air Apaches" history and I would definitely want to see a "Dirty Dora" nose art B-25 done from the same unit above for sure.

Amen Brother!!!!!! I have loved this scheme since I first saw it when I was twelve (that's over twenty years ago) and thought it look so neat. I especially like the indian chief head on the tail. Why didn't Corgi make their's like this? Which wonderboy made this decision?
