Re: Fov 1/72 B-26?

I remember reading one advert which said metal wings or metal body. Whichever, it made me worry that it might have a large amount of plastic.
Does anyone know if this will be a classic Die Cast with metal body , wings and Tail.

No way to really know - FoV hasn't given out much information here. But based on all their previous models, I'd say it's a safe bet that both the B-26 and B-25 will have some weight and a fair amount of metal. Just look at the new P-40 and Zero. Those planes feel heavy! Sadly, the percentage of plastic in a diecast model seems to be increasing in all the manufacturers' models.

They seem to be going for about $40.00 on the webstores for pre-order.

Sounds OK to me!

Fingers crossed its a goody.........
What a waste if its a duffer.........
Hoping for the former as the price is more realistic than the Hound is trying for with its "droppings"

Wonder if you can snag one on eBay for cheaper? Say $25-$30? But then they nail you with over-inflated postage costs....

Re: Fov 1/72 B-26?

I agree. I'm very eager to add a B-26 to my bomber section. I'd also like to add a Douglas A-26 Invader and an A-20 Havoc!!

Yes!!!
I want those planes too! As for quality, I am sitting here with crossed fingers, toes, and eyes hoping these planes are 1/2 way decent models. For $40.00, I'm willing to let some imperfections or goofs go, but I really don't need another IXO quality dog.
