Re: FOV 2007 Catalog NOW W/ PICS!!

They used to say,"One a day in Tampa Bay". Funny thing is that once they reached comat, the B-26 suffered less than 1% losses. Pretty darn good. The trouble with the early models is that they had short wings. The later models had longer wings, which gave it more stablility, and easier takeoff and landings.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Re: FOV 2007 Catalog NOW W/ PICS!!

The biggest question I have: Will I be able to look inside the aircraft engines like in previous FOV models? If not - I will go to Gorgi for planes.

Re: FOV 2007 Catalog NOW W/ PICS!!

It's been posted that these should be available by July..
Looks like the Bombers and 1/32 P-39 are going to be in the $40-$50 range.

If they're as nice as the P-40 sounds like a winner to me

The larger cowl intakes indicates that this will be a later model Marauder..
And as far as the opening engine panels go, I doubt it will have this feature, but you never know..

A P-39 in 1/32nd could be very promising and I do hope FOV won't go overboard on the ship rivet details....know what I mean.

Re: FOV 2007 Catalog NOW W/ PICS!!

I just pre-ordered the B-26 and the B-25. Went to BadCat Aviation and saw that they were taking preorders. Sale price is absolutely fantastic! I refuse to pay Corgi's outrageous prices anymore and will take a pretty decent model for half their price any day. Collectability is soooo grossly over-rated! Both planes are due in July, but who knows for sure. FoV is notoriously slow, but if they're late it gives me more time to save up. My wife's okay with me getting these as long as I save the cash up. Shipping for two models was great too - only $9.99. These guys are becoming my favorite place to buy models.
