New 1:32 P-51D Sharkmouth Bluenoser Paint Scheme

I told you guys last week i let you see the new FOV 1:32 P-51D "Blue Nose Bastards of Bodney" Mustang i got for christmas.
This is my first ever FOV P-51D and it's ok for the price you pay for them at Toys R Us.
But to me it was a gift and i'll never part with it..Heck it's a Bluenoser guy's.
Now on to the story of this P-51D.
This Mustang was flown by Capt. John Bennette of the 352nd and all of Bennette's Mustangs carried the same marking the "Sharkmouth".
This is the only plane that had this type of nose art in the 352nd.
So it does make a cool one to have since i love the Bluenosers.
Enjoy the pictures.
Jp

Not bad at all, jp. The paint scheme is really 'eye-catching'. Thanks for the pics and history of the plane.

Very nice, I don't think I have ever seen a Blue-noser with the sharks mouth..

Yeah that is a first for me.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Very cool, I'd really like to see that scheme done in 1/72!

Is it just the photo or does this one look more like a "purple-noser"?......

Very nice pictures and cool paint scheme. It looks like it has the short (high water) landing gear doors and closed inboard landing gear doors like Franklin Mint's have. That's kind of a weird coincidence.
