Re: New Forces of Valor Aircraft (Repaints)

I assume these are their 1/48th scale offerings, right? I have great hopes for these, as the first round didn't do it for me...

They are actually just re-issues.. These were out at TRU over a year or so ago.. BTW, don't expect the Blue nose Mustang to say "Cripes A Mighty" or relate anything to it other than the livery..

Re: New Forces of Valor Aircraft (Repaints)

Hey there folks,

I hate to be a spoiled sport, but be very wary of the FOV 1:32 scale planes. I've already seen both of these at Toys R Us and they have the same host of flaws that the original mould did. I try not to hack on manufacturers if I can, but FOV really made a bad mould with the 1:32 planes.

Conversely, thier 1:72 planes and tanks are an excellent value. (In the interest of fairness...)

Agreed...
I bought an FOV 1/32 Bf-109G, quickly disassembled it, threw it in a ziplock baggie and put in a desk drawer for someday in the future when I will have time to totally rework it.. Spitfire and Mustang are NOT much better imho..

I have seen this same Mustang as well.
Looks just like Major Preddy's bird but it does not have the "Cripes A Mighty 3rd" on it either...
These 1:32's are ok for the younger kids to collect but FOV needs to re-tool some things ....Then it be a nice P-51D.
I got one for christmas a Sharkmouth 352nd fighter and it will be the only one in my collection i'll tell ya that.
