Re: F-14 pictures

Careful, Top Gun/Hogan Tomcats are not 1/72, they are 1/80 as far as I know. and I do read some Japanese

Yes, the Hogans are 1/80, but there was another 1/72 VF-84 F-14A from another manufacturer (Century?)...it used to be the top entry under the second button ("TOPGUN") on the left-hand column. It's gone now, but it was there, I swear it!

(The photos showed detachable aircrew sitting on the intakes. It looked like they were taken at a toy show, so maybe it hasn't been released yet.)

Re: F-14 pictures

Why would they make a 1/80 scale?
Seems odd.

Re: F-14 pictures

I wish that they would make an F-14 in Top Gun movie markings. I think that it would be pretty cool. Let's face it, one of the most famous things about the '14 is it's movie career.

Re: F-14 pictures

I posted these on the other forum. Here are some photo's of cyber-hobby's Wolfpack F-14A. This is the first fully armed Dragon F14 I've come across. The addition of 4 x Phoenix missiles makes a big difference.

Re: F-14 pictures

Nice F-14, better than the Witty.
Yeah I said it, but I still think Witty makes a better F-15, F16 & F-18

Re: F-14 pictures

Ya but when you put the F-14 on the stand...it looks like it's going to fall off.
It's so heavy for a plastic little stand.
I do like the pics that tsr2 has up on his F-14.
I still like FOV F-14 Black Knights better
Witty is best when it comes to the F-15 Eagle and F-16 Falcon.
Louie sold me a F-18 Black Knights so i will see when i get it.

I'm a little tired of everything having to be a CAG bird..I want to see some every day run-of-the-mill workhorses.

Re: F-14 pictures

If you notice there always 100 or 101 or 200 or 201 for the plane numbers.
I don't think i have seen a different number.
