Re: Forces of Valor P-40 Warhawk

That P-40 looks pretty decent. I think it's going to be my first FOV plane

Hey Skunky, I like your new sig. I think you should run for "Chief On Topic Enforcer"!

Re: Forces of Valor P-40 Warhawk

The place where I got the pics on ebay.. I believe it is JT's collectibles, has the new FOV planes for only a couple of dollars over retail and not bad shipping..

Re: Forces of Valor P-40 Warhawk

Thanks guys...you've been a lot of help in locating pictures.
Another question that I have is:
  • Is this model the P-40B variant?

Re: Forces of Valor P-40 Warhawk

Resisting all temptation to go off topic and in a serious vein I am already in the hunt for this model. I just cannot get enough P40s. The engine detail looks very good. This will be in addition to the two P38s. I like the plain and simple olive drab paint schemes myself, but I also like to add some of the more colourfull schemes to pretty up my collection a little. I would like see a P38 scheme like Joltin Jose. I am trying to find the courage and money to add a 1/32 Spitfire to the list.

Re: Forces of Valor P-40 Warhawk

I hear you Jim. I love P-40s (got 12 already) so I just HAD to order this one. Ordered it from BadCat and got the confirmation that it's on the way. Can't wait! Looks like a pretty decent "B/C" version and I love the Pearl Harbor scheme. While I like the "Flying Tiger" planes, I really prefer some of the more common everyday markings.

Re: Forces of Valor P-40 Warhawk

Bring them all on. THE B/C is the version used by both the AVG in the start, and by the Pearl Harbor defenders.
