Talking 1.35 figures to go with stuff !

Hi guys,

Anyone looking for 1.35 scale figures to go with 1.35 armour or 1.35 planes should check out these figures from Oryon. They are metal and hand-painted. Right now they are being sold for half-price ( about $30 ) so they are a real bargain. I think that there was a set of RAF Aces but they seem to be sold out now.

I think that these figures are a real bargain at this price level, and ideal for members who wish to have just a few figures to lift their displays. They are a real must for the plane collectors for who have any of the German Aces' planes in 1.35!

The sets represent as follows :
  1. AMERICAN INFANTRY - 34TH INFANTRY DIVISION ' RED BULL'
  2. GERMAN PZ.GRENADIERS - DIV. LEHR & US PARATROOPS 82nd DIV. ANZIO
  3. US PARAS - 101ST DIV SCREAMIN EAGLE & GERMAN PZ GRENADIERS DIV. LEHR - NORMANDY
  4. LUFTWAFFE AIR ACES MOLDERS/PHILLIPP/GALLAND/BAR

A word of caution though. These seem to scale out a little too large for 1:35 (maybe more about 1:33). If you put them up to Tamiya or Dragon figures, they are quite large in comparison.

Thanks Hoverbug. Do you consider them to be nearer 1.32 scale ?

Might not be to bad if close to 1/32nd scale.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

I would not mind have the aces collection...Be cool if they had a Hartmann to go with the Corgi 109.

Yep, they seemed to fit perfectly with the FoV vehicles.

can you let me know, if Confederates could be mixed with Unimax/FOV ACW figures , and British guards with W.Britain Napoléonic figures?

Thanx in advance for your answers and help.

Re: 1.35 figures to go with stuff !

Those figures look very good and the base is nice as well. Still, pretty steep when you consider these are half price. I'm thinking price for a figurine vs. an aircraft model. Does look like you get what you pay for. Good stuff. Is this what you guys regularly collect along with you models?

Re: 1.35 figures to go with stuff !

These figures are really nice Momo! I've seen these figures and we're very tempted to get them for my WWII town tank battle dio but they were too expensive at the time and ended up getting a mix of FOV and 21CT figures instead.

BTW, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Oryon is made by Franklin Mint?
