Re: Frontline Pilot figurines

....Or this very detailed Eagle-Edition 1/32nd resin figure of Major George Preddy!

I want this one bad....But i can't paint a figure like that...Maybe Harry can do one for me...

George Preddy was......Just the greatest fighter pilot who ever squinted through a gunsight.
He was a complete fighter pilot.......Colonel John C. Meyer Deputy Commander of the 352nd.

AA, actually I wasn't comparing you to Skunky (how can anyone measure up?)....more like poking fun at your comment considering all the drama we've had lately concerning "insensitive statements" especially those of that insensitive Skunky (gasp)!!!!

Anywho, all in jest, tongue-in-cheek, good natured ribbing, and all that jazz.........

Ah, okay! No problem here mate!

Re: Frontline Pilot figurines

Fly, that's not fair because our diecasts don't come close to the detail of a plastic model and professionally done at that! BTW, that looks awesome and now I think I'll go sell off my collection and buy a couple of those hi-end professionally hand built planes that cost as much as a car.......god your picture made me feel bad about some of the molds we settle for (see FM P-40, Corgi Mustang, etc.).

"Let not your heart be troubled my friend..." a line stolen from Shawn Hannity's radio show

I do agree with your sentiments, however I do believe the reasons behind our collecting passion is to have a bit of diversity - perfect plastic renditions of the warplanes, and the not so
perfect diecast warbirds renditions. Just my .02....

Yeah, Harry's your man!

Re: Frontline Pilot figurines

Is it just me or do some of the look a little stupid?

I mean like they are a little light in the brain department.

AA

Oh, fertile ground here.

MoMo trying his best to avoid staring (he must be thinking of his true love, Maggie T.) ....

A shocked Skunky can't believe his eyes.....

tank nut, is that nine or ten (try using your fingers)???

And not a single one of them with a cigarette or cigar in hand or in mouth. I would expect at least one.
