Hot toys predator model kit. Is it worth it?

I saw the elder, chopper and the predator 2 offerings from Hot toys. They are sold at a little over US$200.00 here.

I've read a review on Predator 2. It hasn't convinced me to buy it. Picture wise it still looks toy-ish except when pics are taken with the correct ambient lights(a little dark)
. several flaw like one leg being longer than the other some fitting issues.....

Anybody here got it? Care to share your experience?
What's the best Predator action figure offered by Hot toys?

Thx

Re: Hot toys predator model kit. Is it worth it?

Scar or Celtic are by far the two best ones but good luck trying to find them under $300. Predator 2 definitely doesn't stand up to these first 2. Chopper was one of the original releases along with Scar and Celtic but is not as aesthetically pleasing as Scar & Celtic.

I think you'll just have to make up your own mind on whether he's worth the $200, like everything else it's all a matter of personal tastes.

Good luck Roh!

Yeah i also prefer the Celtic predator but it's not available in the store.

The fitting issue is what have me in doubts. Some people are saying that super glue is required and some parts might be chipped if not careful during assembly and the molding inaccuracy such as the leg of the predator 2 being longer on one side. I just don't expect that kind of flaws from a $200.00 toy.

Maybe I catch the AVP 2 first before deciding to buy it. It's still in theatre here

Thanks Trex.
