Re: Kotobukiya Darth Vader Episode 3

It's nicely sculpted 1/8 figure but really is just a statue in a rigid pose. If that's your thing then it should be fine.

You would be better off with the fully articulating 1/6 version from Medicom version.

My Gosh FlyXWire after seeing Medicom's Vader, the Kotobukiya's Vader looks....plain dull. LOL.

But I don't know where it's being sold here...

Re: Kotobukiya Darth Vader Episode 3

I bought Kotobukiya's Vader statue.

I'm more than satisfied with the model. It sure does look much better than its pictures over on their official website.

But my model came with some blueish blemish on the cloak and a small oval texture blemish on Vader's left shoulder armor.

It's a great big model overall. A must have for any Star Wars fan. In fact it looks so darn realistic that I decided not to put it in my bedroom yet at night. It looks quite spooky in the dark(silly me). Too bad the lightsaber doesn't turn on and come with audible humming. That is probably this model only weakness. Not that I complain about it.

EDIT: Well I've to admit that Kotobukiya Vader's pose is more imposing than Medicom's being somewhat bigger and with the cloak spread out. Really recommend it
