Good choices there, JP! But let's not stop there, how about some Luftwaffe ACES like Marseille, Hartmann, Galland, Rall and some Japanese, Russians and British ACES as well!

Re: McFarlane WWII announcements

I love his product and all, and was at the front of the line to buy Spawn #1 (a comic for all you old fogies), but seeing that Mr. McFarlane is Canadian and all, you'd think he like to branch out into some Canadian Forces models. I realize that 300 million vs. 30 million in the population scale tends to scue your outlook, but some figurines of our boys in Afghanistan, LAVIII's, and the like would be a welcome change from the usual fare. That being said, I welcome his foray into WWII models, but I'm getting a little ticked at his total shunning of the guys who protected his homeland. You know, the other country that shares North America, which isn't Mexico, and who's currency is currently valued higher than a certain other country which lies below it.
Don't even get me started on the whole "won't do German figures" thing. Must be that murderous Phoenix heat scrambling his brains. I think I'll go and gaze at my new PJ model and think happy thoughts.

Mmmble, mmmble, doesn't even cheer for his hometown Flames.

Just my 2 cents worth. (2.5 cents Canadian)

Re: McFarlane WWII announcements

I'd like to see a cool one of Yeager.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Re: McFarlane WWII announcements

To be honest, I wouldn't need actual persons, just generic representations of each pilot from each theater.. A US fighter pilot, a Luftwaffe fighter pilot, a RAF pilot, IJN pilot, and so on....
