Anybody collect these? What are these like - quality-wise? Thanks for any feedback.

The 1/32 Corgi figurines are generally excellent .

I've got the 'Buddy' Lee Archer one (exceptional) next to my EI "Ina the Macon Belle" - looks great as does Rommel, the Battle of Britain 'Scramble' Set and the German Ski-trooper (another is due soon - Luftwaffe pilot). The detail on the Lee Archer figure is really good and the eyes can only be properly seen with a magnifying glass - the painters appear to be highly skilled!

Purchase with confidence (they also take up a lot less space than some of the aircraft).

They do look a little better then i thought they would.

I agree with Cardinal. I have the Gebirgsjäger, Lee Archer and Walter Nowotny figures with Rommel on the way. They are all very nice in my opinion and well worth the price.

The "O'er the ramparts.." figurine (guy holding bomb) doesn't look that realistic in the picture unless he had super-strength, given the weight of those things!

I once read that the bomb he was holding was made out of paper-mache (sp?) material when he modeled for the poster. I could be mistaken though.

Well that figures.. I was going to order the Richard Bong and Tommy McGuire 1:32 figures by Corgi..Item US59402 WWII USAAF ACE Richard Bong and US59403 WWII USAAF ACE Thomas McGuire have been cancelled on 4-30-07.

Ooooooh, what I would give to have a 1/32nd P-38 diecast to be made!
