1.72 Ger. Tankriders

Check out the new 1.72 Resin tankriders from MIG. They appear to be astride an Armourfast Stug.

Cool, huh?

They also have a new 1.72 Resin Governmental Building Ruin. Cool backdrop!

Are those pre-painted or do you have to paint them yourself?

Re: 1.72 Ger. Tankriders

They are high quality castings, Sergey, and I'm afraid that some cutting, trimming and painting would have to be done.

They are good-looking castings, though, and resin is a damned sight easier to paint than plastic.

I think that they are probably Russian in origin.

I couldn't find a review on this site. But they should come up quite soon...Plastic Soldier Review cover every issue in 1.72 :

Cheers,

MoMo

Re: 1.72 Ger. Tankriders

Also,

I came across them at MODEL HOBBIES which is a UK mailorder site. I can't post a link because it's a commercial site, but you can find them under NEW PRODUCTS, if you find it.

cheers,

MoMo

Re: 1.72 Ger. Tankriders

These are the only other commercial releases which I could find by MIG Productions, so I guess that they are a very small concern. Probably they haven't released much thus far.

These I found on Transport Models, another UK site. They are priced at £ 10 each.

Re: 1.72 Ger. Tankriders

MIG productions is a company from Spain. They make some other nice 1/72 stuff too, though mostly aimed at modelers and diorama makers. I think they have around 14 or so figure sets and you can buy different heads for them as well. They make various diorama pieces and have a very nice ruined industrial building. You can find their website using Google by typing in "Mig Productions".

There are loads of resin figures like this out in the market that are all very nice. Milicast makes a huge and very nice resin figure range as well, though some figures require various parts to be glued together.

Re: 1.72 Ger. Tankriders

Thanks for the additional info, LegioLXXll. When I saw the figures in winter camo, I thought of all those winter camo 251s which you have on order!
