Oryon Pilots 1/35

Found these little babies on the BAY and thought they looked very nice.

Those are really cool!!! Much better than Corgi's offerings, but probably more expensive also...

Re: Oryon Pilots 1/35

I think these are not yet available in the States. Earlier sets of groundpounders are available from Michigan Toy Soldiers but the pilot sets are not listed yet. However, I would be willing to bet they will carry them once they are available. You might e-mail them to see if they will carry the pilot sets.

BTW, if you register with Michigan Toy Soldiers you become eligible for discounted prices on just about everything- usually 10-20%. I've never ordered anything so I can't speak to their service. I did meet the principals once at a show and they seemed like standup guys.

Re: Oryon Pilots 1/35

I don't know, is £24 alot for 4???

Like $12 each. That's not so bad really. Actually, it seems cheap, but you have to buy 4 at a time.

Frontline, K&K and Britains are about double that I think.

Re: Oryon Pilots 1/35

There is a co-worker at work who has them and there very nice to have with your planes.
I wanted the Pappy Boyington one
But yes you have to buy the whole set and i think he said it was like $50.00 for a set from the UK.
I'll wait for when it comes here.

I have some Oryon D-Day figures and I think they scale out a bit closer to 1/32 than 1/35. They are definitely larger than Dragon's 1/35 figures, but are smaller than Britains ONTC 54mm figures.

Re: Oryon Pilots 1/35

To be honest, I'm not overly impressed with these sets. They don't even come close to the detail and quality of some of the Corgi figures ...

Well then I need better pics huh?

From what I can tell, they look very much like the Osprey drawings and others I've seen but who knows up close. Cardinal, you be the 1st to chuck down the 200 bones for the 4 sets and then shoot us some photos.

Come on, are ya chicken?!?!

These would be perfect for my 21st Century warbirds if those pilot sets does indeed scale close to 1:32nd. I must get several.
