Re: We all need prepainted figures

same here.
I bought little figures and a bit of paint, some brushes, but never have time to paint.
Maybe when I'm retired,

I love Polikarpov

Re: We all need prepainted figures

Dragon makes a line of pre-painted soldiers, not just the 6 tank aces.
1/35 scale.

Re: We all need prepainted figures

I stopped at a local Target this weekend and checked out the FOV stuff. They had the 1:72 figure sets and IMO they looked just awful. But this got me thinking and when I got home I finally cracked open that Ardennes Offensive cyber-hobby diorama (60129) I had purchased so long ago. Well, it took some patience but I finally got all 8 of those FJ onto the back of the King Tiger using tiny drops of white glue and I must say they look great. I think these cyber-hobby figures are a terrific balance between cost and quality. How about a T-34 with an engine deck full of 10+ Soviet infantry?

Re: We all need prepainted figures

I'd love to be able to buy squads of painted 1:72 figs. Who really has time to paint those guys? I guess the same people that still actually bother to paint 1:72 armor. The FOV are very mediocre, but still a nice first entry in the field. What we really need is someone like Pegasus or Caesar to release painted sets of their figs, or Dragon to really jump on board and start releasing fig sets independent of armor. Now that would be something I would really shell out for.
