The Me-163 Komet is finally in!

At the Mule's website, the Easy Model's Me-163 Komet has arrived. All 5 versions look very nice overall. Needs a tail swazi of course. Looks like a little winner and at a good price.

I saw that. That is exciting news I think. A little dull cote and some weathering and these look pretty good.
Not like I have any room for a BBI 1:18 one.

I'd like to get the U.S. Zeek, an MS-406 and one of these all together to save on shipping. Just not sure which one I want.
I think White 54 maybe...

Hmm, I am surprised at how good that looks, oh heck you have wet my appetite now Parsig old bean, I shall have to investigate these.

I shall use my tried and tested method of waiting until some members of the forum have bought one or two and see what the opnion is.

As will I, Jim, as will I.

Tiny as they are I might be able to fit a few of those things in my Luftwaffe collection...

I just broke down and ordered the "White 13" and the "White 54". Sweeeeeet!

They'll look good in my late-war German "What the %#@* is that?" group along with the IXO Dornier Do 335 Pfiel
and the IXO Heinkel He 162 Salamander.

Re: The Me-163 Komet is finally in!

Silly question time folks, but does the gear come off on these birds? I know Easy Model is usually fixed, and these look awfully sweet, but I'd reall like to be able to show them off in the air. (Even if there is no stand, I can swing something with an extra Corgi stand.)

Thanks

Anything for a weird life.

In for a penny, in for a pound. I'll grab the entire set.

I think they are fixed, due to: 1. as you remarked, Easy Models have always had fixed gear, and 2. in Martin's pics, it is shown on it's stand with wheels attached. Looks like they might be able to be broken off rather easily, however.
