Scale and Quality Very Questionable ???

Well a few weeks back I posted about getting some of the Easy Models Copters, I had not yet opened any, but thought they were cool looking.

Opened 1st one, a few parts fell off, put them back on, start attaching the rotors and bam one breaks, So I display it with that to the rear of the cabinet, the other day I look in there and another rotor is off, I look at it and it broke itself off the tiny little nub they use to hold it on, so now I am two rotors short making this a total waste of $15.00.

I open another one, one of the CH-46, very carefully attaching the rotors and bam another one breaks, now I am mad and basically think these are pieces of crap. Too lightweight like I said about the planes by this company. Plastic is too thin the rotor even when attached correctly hang funny and dont stay on.

Now for the scale question, is a CH-46 Heli , in real life tiny ? Compared to a F-16 lets say, shouldnt this Copter sit higher and be bigger overall, the scale looks way too small for 1/72 too me, but hey I have never seen a real CH-46, just looks to be for what it is with dual rotors and the space inside these seem more like 1/120 scale or smaller even? Any of the knowledgeable ones on here know about the scale accuracy on these?

Re: Scale and Quality Very Questionable ???

I have twice received broken easy model aircraft and had no problem sending them back. some models do have flaws. your heli may be one. in term of scale, i have never had a problem with it.

Re: Scale and Quality Very Questionable ???

The CH-46 is quite small and the Easymodel one scales out perfectly, fuselage length on the real thing is 45' on the F-16 49'.I have two of the 46s and no problems with either of them and I am looking forwards to further helo releases in this range.

Re: Scale and Quality Very Questionable ???

Hey thanks for the info, so the size is correct, wow it looks so small even next to a P-51 in 1/72 scale, I had no idea.

Wish Corgi would get things going and expand the Heli line, I could dig a better quality version.
