Easy Model CH-46

Sorry for the messy table- here is quick shot of one of the Easy Model CH-46 Sea Knight models along with a Verlinden helicopter deck card. You are supposed to glue the card to a base for a diorama. For those who really want to go the extra mile the Verlinden piece comes with some photo etch pieces for the tie downs.

I'll take some more photos later. The model is quite good with detailing inside. Like most Easy Models it is probably too glossy.

I have one of their CH-46s and I love it. Great work!

Re: Easy Model CH-46

nice models but... i broke several of the pegs for the prop blade attachements. They were very hard to get on. I have one in the box just need to glue 2 or 3 blades on for dirt cheap PM me. Love that livery guess I'm just meant for metal stuff.

Wow, that chopper looks great. I guess I might have to check out Easy Model after all?

I had the same problem. I removed the blade rotor and glued the blades into place, with a generous amount of glue! And leave the blades and blade rotor to sit for a very long time (I mean days on end) and re-glue as necessary, and you will be able to achieve a good looking model.

Re: Easy Model CH-46

Hey Cav, just curious as to what kind of glue you're using....Really, just a very small amount of CA (superglue) followed up with a quick shot of accelerator should set those blades in place instantly and permanently.

Re: Easy Model CH-46

That is a good looking model. I have been asking my local store to start stocking these. Seems a good way to get people into the hobby. Get them hooked on Easy Models then graduate them to diecast.

Just regular modeling glue. Nothing like crazy-instant glue.

My local shop usually keeps a handful of Easy Model and Dragon Armor on hand. Occasionally they get a few Corgi or Dragon aircraft to see how they sell. They don't get enough demand for diecasts to get more. I'm one of the few purchasers!
