Re: great looking easy models

MRC also sells kits- perhaps that is what you saw?

The new Easy Model helicopters do require you to put the rotors on. All the other Easy Model products I've seen come complete.

Thumbs up Re: great looking easy models

I had a look at the MRC Easy Models after looking at modelson Celtics' site. I've got tosay I was tempted to get the Mig 3, Yak 3 as well as various other allied aircraft in Russian colours. They looked really good.

I think this must be what Flaps saw, because Easy model does make the same planes in kit form, pre-painted and all, just needs assembled (and for about the same price as you can buy the assembled ones)..

That's 'cause the ARE good, IMHO.

Re: great looking easy models

I think what Flaps saw were "EZ-Build" models. Now those are rather crappy indeed, with very few exceptions, and do require some assembly.

Very different than MRC Easy Models. I don't own any yet, but have seen pictures and I'm tempted, given the prices...

I thought their 1:48 Mustang wasn't bad....perhaps it's one of the "few exceptions."

Also try squadron.com or of course badcataviation.com!

Re: great looking easy models

Yeah, I agree, Flaps must have been looking at another product form MRC, I have the Easy Model Mig 3, a p-40 and two of their Corsairs (which as mentioned are excellent for the money!) and they do look pretty good sitting next to the metal ones!
