Pilots and Guns

... I always place human resources into the cockpits and with the coming flood of Easy Models will run out of my scavenged hoard of 1/72 pilots (retired from the Revell, Airfix 70ies-payroll) pretty soon. Is there any manufacturer for (sitting) WW2- and Jet-Pilots?

Same for the helos, I want to arm them with M-60s, Miniguns, 50cals - and doorgunners. I used to buy a weapon tank accessory set from www.minitanks.at but this is apparently discontinued. Any alternatives?

regards, P.

Re: Pilots and Guns

Can't help you on the guns, but have you considered the MATCHBOX line of WWII diecasts for scavenging pilots? Also, some of the Dragon jets like their F-16 models have pilot figures but you gotta perform some leg amputation to be able to fit them inside the cockpit. Don't forget that Hasegawa model kits are good resources for 1:72nd pilots as well, and these kits can still be obtained as we speak. Hope this helps a little.

Re: Pilots and Guns

... there seems more help around:

SHQ Miniatures

has Helo-Pilots and Gunners for those coming 1/72 Choppers. Has anyone ever seen/used those ironsides?
