Cool Paint finish

I have 17 Easy Models in my hanger, (quite a few duplicates), and while they're not of star quality they do provide some nice eye candy for a very low price. I bought most of mine for $8.19, so I don't expect Corgi, Gemini, CW, HM or DW quality. That said, a number of the issues have paint liveries that are too glossy. So, have any of you other Easy Model owners, [I know you're out there somewhere], tried using some dull coat to tone down the gloss? I was shooting pictures of Corsairs today and realized that the fuselage numbers from VMF 323 were being reflected on the F4U-4's wings. Now that's glossy.

Re: Paint finish

I think a few guys here have masked off the canopies and shot the planes with a flat finish..

Re: Paint finish

I have used Dullcoat for these planes and it works out great.
Adds a great touch.

Re: Paint finish

If I'm not mistaken, I believe RonO of this forum has used dullcoat with great sucess.
