Waltz...
It doesn't look that bad......does it ?
JP

JP, ........No, but come on, why do all the companies have to put this in their line ups? It's the same with the F-104 Really George. Is there anyone out there that is going to buy even 2 of the peanut camo A-10s? I'll buy one, most likely the hobby master since it's out first and will be cheaper than corgis, but corgi could of had another sale out of me (and probably alot of other people I'm assuming) if they picked another scheme (or hobby master or easy model for that matter). And Easy Model also is doing a Spangdahelm scheme and a Flying Tiger 23rd TFW as well, just about the same as Corgi's releases. It just drives me crazy when they decide on these schemes, esp. with a plane that I really love. I'm really keeping my fingers crossed that Hobby Master picks a winner with their 5th release (cough cough....ANG unit )

Incredible, my house is too small.

There is still the mother-in-laws room....

Holy Cow!!! me!!! OMG, how did my radar miss all these???

Look at All the Soviet eye-candies stuff? Thanks alot, JP!

Steady up boys, Think about this , what do you think you will get for the price?
Today I got a P40b Easy model. It is sitting in front of me as I type this. It is worth exactly what I paid for it and no more.
The fact that its plastic is not an issue but the quality is. BUT for the price its very good.
You get what you pay for. It did strike me that if I was a parent of a young child these models would be a great and cheap way of getting them started into the hobby.

Buy them if you want but dont expect too much and you will be Ok.

Hey Jim buddy, knowing you're obsessed to all things P-40, I ought to sell you the 21st Century 1:48 P-40N - it's a beautiful and very nicely built plastic model and for only $10 you can't go wrong!

You interested?

Yup!

It's the personal mount of 1Lt Joel B Paris III, 7th FS/49th FG, Hollandia, New Guinea, May 1944.
This P-40N has the nose art of a Death skull wearing a flight cap w/sickel and a "Rusty" label by the canopy rail on
the port side. It's really a beautiful finished model and an accurate variant of the P-40N to boot.

Yea, I found that model at Wall-Mart, it's really nice! I don't generally do 1/48, but ended up SOMEHOW with a Bader Spitfire, and Galland's 109, so figured a P 40 would kinda round it out, with one British, one German, and one American!

Its mine please! I am drooling already, I have just taken a delivery of planes from Big Guns Florida.I am now the proud owner of ,THE STUD ,THE Robert Vaught Darwin P40, (+the p40 easy model).. That means that I have 18 P40s on display now.
Sorry but I just cannot get excited about the Easymodels. They are not that good, Ok I admit this little friendly Easymodel P40 is growing in my affections because it has Russian markings and adds a new area to my collection. But it will be the only one. ( I have heard that one before Jim)!

I have just finished reading Neville Dukes obituary, as we say in Yorkshire "he has nothing to come back for". What a life he had. He made good use of the Kittyhawk and shot down 12 fighters and 2 bombers in 3 months. He shot down 2 Me109s in one sortie.
I have just done a little research and found out that he rated the Spifire above most others but he had nothing but praise for the tough little Kittyhawk. That very toughness safed his life on more than one occasion when he was hit by shells from the 109s.

Eeek Of topic ,sorry gentlemen , well on the subject of Easymodels I have nothing more to add so its over to you chaps to carry on the thread and I shall watch and take notes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Flywire I shall send PM.

God Bless America.
