Wink Impressive Grunt...!

Just some questions if you don't mind :

On the shelf under the CH46, are 2 Bell choppers : what scale and brand are they pse ?

Same question for the small A10...?

Re: Easy Model Aircraft 2007-2008 Catalog *More pics on post 9 & 23 & 41

Thanks y'all for the kind comments

Well, I am FAST running out of space for them planes as it is. These shelves used to hold my 1/6 action figures. They basically got storaged to make way for my jets and props. Will take some pix and post in the other sections.

Ok answers -

- The Sea Knight is about 19 cm / slightly more than 7 inches (bow to stern excl rotor length)

- The 2 choppers below the Easy ones are Aoshima diecast Airwolf 1/48 (I think) and a FM/Armour Vn 1st Cav UH1B 1/48

- The mini A10 is from DML's Can-Do 1:144 scale jets

- Yeah the scene in Singapore is not exciting to say the least...Miniature Hobby and Time Machine Studio being 2 of the very few places to buy I think, and prices reflect that . So I would ebay and pop by HKG for the yearly shopping blitz for the latest stuff. Oh yeah, bought quite a fair bit of Corgi big birds incoming. Worry abt the space problem later I say!

Picked up the CH-46(HM261 Land Camo) and UH-60 (Desert Sand) really diggin' the Frog, the Black Hawk could certainly be improved upon simply by adding some weathering. Looking forward to the other 46's.

Could you please re-upload the pics on imagevenue or imageshack please. It seems the host chosen in the beginning of this post is down.
Thanks.

Re: Easy Model Aircraft 2007-2008 Catalog *More pics on post 9 & 23 & 41

Thanks. I bought two years ago a few of the Corsairs from Easy Model (MRC/Trumpeter) and I was astonished by the quality for a $10 "ready-made" (antennas, stencils & decals, proportions). A few oddities like the missing Spits landing gears panels (???) and the missing Swastikas on the Wermarcht planes (I know, I know... but anyway, it's not historically correct). On the other hand, the "Gustav" undercarriage is very well done. I'm dying to get the yellow Bearcat, the captured Zero...
I also love Witty because their quality has really improved in the last few models. The SeaFurys are top notch (and probably the second best ever propelled fighter after the Vought Corsair).
As a Corsair fan, I bought the "Orchid" Corsair by Dragon, the one with folding wings. A great 1:72 die-cast but as most of the DC, the are heavy and their landing gears are fat. I broke one of the LG leg and glued it but it's not pretty and fragile.
Easy Model will make a huge range of F-14 Tomcats. As they have retired not too long ago, I plan of buying two or three of those "Furious Kittens".
I love these little birds. The Komet and the Salamander are on my "to buy" list as well.
Well I'll have to rob a bank I fear...

Waiting for the Blue Angel Bearcats. Unlikely to see them in diecast anytime soon.

All these models look great and having the cataloge is great.

One thing however which I don,t know if anyone rasied yet is that with the Uh-34 German Navy S.A.R should of had the 50 cal and the M60 removed.

I went for the French Navy version .

Cheers
